Electronics and Communication Engineering Department

World over there are rapid strides in the area of micro-electronics, communication systems and Information Technology. An engineering professional trained in the area of electronics and communication engg. should have adequate theoretical & practical training to handle these advancements. We, in Chandigarh Engineering College have planned various courses like Digital Electronics, Electronic Devices and Circuits, Analog Electronics, Networks Analysis and Synthesis, Electronic Measuring Instruments, Linear Integrated Circuits, Linear Control Systems, Signals and Systems, Electro Magnetic Field Theory, Microprocessors, Digital Signal Processing, Communication Systems, Neural Networks, Fiber Optic Communication, Radar, TV Engg., Micro Controllers, Very Large Scale Integration, Satellite Communication, Microwave Engineering.

While the course coverage meets the requirements of the University, we generally plan to go beyond that so that our engineering graduates are able to meet the challenges of tomorrow. We have good range of ECE journals as well as latest books to keep the students posted with latest trends in the Electronics & Communication Engineering area.

 

We have inaugurated an IETE Students Forum in our college to enable students to become members of IETE. Students from our Department (ECE) as well as the Departments of EE, CSE & IT are eligible for this membership. We have already enrolled 47 students and the number is steadily increasing. In addition, our college has been elected as organizational member of the Institution. Our students will now be able to avail of all the facilities offered by the IETE.
