Applied Science Department Organized a Motivational Lecture on “Universal Human Values” during student induction programme for B. Tech 1st year students. The students enjoyed a talk by Mr. Tilak Tanwar who is not only an international award holder but also a motivational speaker and bestselling author. He delivered a high energy message and motivated the students to shake off mediocrity and live up to their greatness. He also shared with them how to browse their inner strength. He said that every human being is shaped by his thoughts. So people become what they think. He also stressed on the fact that the more we feed our mind with books and inspirational listening, the more we grow in terms of knowledge, money, happiness and reputation. Another motivational talk was given by a versatile personality, Ms Aarti Malhotra who is a radio jockey, anchor, actor as well as a model. She is one such tale of struggles and compassion which took her to work for women empowerment. She conducts social welfare programs for community with government officials and communities. She inspired the students not to surrender in face of difficulties but take it as a challenge and the success will be at their feet.
