The Excelsior club of the Applied Science Department, Chandigarh Engineering College, Mohali organized Poetry writing contest and Edited Photography event on 25th January, 2021 on the occasion of “72nd Republic Day”. In Poetry writing contest there was a participation of around 36 students from all over the Applied sciences department. The club got some amazingly energetic and outstandingly great verse from the students that portrayed the adoration and sensations of the young for their homeland.
In Edited Photography event, catching various parts of life and grand marvels and blending it with the inventiveness of the student by altering it was a good thought of the club and the club got around 26 entries from the students of Applied sciences department in the event with the theme “patriotism”. The event was coordinated and judged by Mrs.Namrata Chopra and Mrs.Nisha Kumari
For Poetry writing the winners were:-
? Sujal Gupta (IT C2) was awarded the first position
? Vansh Chuchra (IT C2) was awarded the second position
? Aditya Abraham(IT C2) and Aditi Rai(IT C2) both were awarded third position
? Aakash Mehta(CSE A1) and Chirag Gupta(IT C2) were awarded with a consolation prize.
For edited photography the winners were:-
? Naman bansal (CSE F2) was awarded the first prize
? Keshav kumar (CSE C2) was awaded the second prize.
? Kaustubh mongia (CSE C2) was awarded the third prize.
? Jayant pahwa (CSE C1) was awarded a consolation prize .
