A technical webinar was done under students’ chapter -IEI Technical Webinar on “Smart Grid using Smart Meters and Smart Phone “on 18th April, 2021. The main purpose of the event was to provide and share information regarding smart grid. A smart grid is an electricity network enabling a two way flow of electricity & data with digital communications technology enabling to detect, react and pro-act to changes in usage & multiple issues. Er. Manish Kumar, GM, Power grid Corporation of India provided knowledge about the usage and future of smart grids. 43 students participated in this event. Students learnt a lot about smart grid and how to manage and integrate different upcoming technologies smartly.
