Industry interface is indeed the most critical differentiator for educational institutions worldwide. We at CEC strongly believe in building a strong foundation for corporate interface through excellent innovative practices. Our students are made to undertake industry projects, presentations, case studies, research work and working as trainees to get practical experience of industrial working environment.
We have also undertaken various special initiatives such as Pre-placement Training, Industry-Institute Interface, Conferences and Seminars. We have lots of international tie-ups with reputed foreign universities to provide opportunities to our students for International Internship, Summer School and Semester Exchange.
We have validations and accreditations with TCS, Infosys Ltd, Wipro Technologies Ltd, L&T Infotech Ltd, Oracle, Dell Services, Newgen Software Tech Ltd, Birla Soft Indian Ltd, Verizon Data Services India Ltd, Capgemini India Pvt Ltd.
Our experienced team of CEC is constantly in touch with the leading corporate groups and work towards critically evaluating the industry expectations. With the help of strong industry-institute interface and under the guidance of industry stalwarts, special programmes are delivered at CEC to engineering students to bridge the gap between industry requirements and B.Tech university curriculum. As a result, several well renowned corporations have accredited Chandigarh Engineering College for placements.
It is important to mention here that only accredited institutes get a chance to conduct placement drives of prominent companies. Consequently, CECians enjoy full opportunity to participate in the excellent corporate placement drives.

Cognizant Certified Student Program @ CEC

Chandigarh Engineering College, Landran provides technical training under Cognizant Certified Student Program (CCSP). Cognizant Certified Student Program seeks to equip students with capabilities in different areas of IT & Software Engineering relevant to industry needs. It is a part of their social commitment help students become more employable, at no cost to the college and the students.
Concepts such as Object Oriented Programming using JAVA, Operating System & Computer Architecture, Introduction to Web Technologies, Computer Networks, Data Structures, C++, RDBMS, Software Engineering, and Cloud& Mobility form the syllabus. Students who clear this certification will be eligible directly for Technical & HR Interviews during the campus recruitment program.

Wipro Talent Next Program @ CEC

Chandigarh Engineering College, Landran provides a learning platform – Wipro Talent Next to its faculties and students in collaboration with Wipro – Wipro Talent Next Program, an integrated Talent Management System that will enable students with a unique learning experience, customized to suit the needs of a geographically spread workforce. Under Wipro Talent Next Program students learned advanced concepts of Java with the help of self-learning module developed by Wipro. Wipro Talent program conducted weekly assessment of students on the specialized portal also developed by Wipro.

Infosys Campus Connect Programme @ CEC

Infosys, the third largest India based IT services corporation has honored CEC by signing MOU through Campus Connect Programme. This highly talked about programme provide a massive platform for the students to upgrade their skills and talent as per the latest industrial requirements. Consequently, this helps our young engineers to get successfully placed in Infosys and other leading multinational corporations.
