Research, Innovation, Sponsored Projects & Entrepreneurship (RISE) at Chandigarh Engineering College- CGC Landran, Mohali is focusing on excellence in research and aims to stay ahead in spectrum of technological and social innovations. RISE is committed to excellence in fundamental research as well as the development of innovative technologies for the future. It instills a pulsating atmosphere of research by providing service and resources to faculty, students and staff that encourages them to take research, innovation, startups, discoveries, and promoting consultancy activities related to R & D. To facilitate research activities, the RISE has formulated specific guidelines for execution of new research (both basic and applied), interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary research, research collaborations with national and international institutions/universities, consultancy, Government funded/ private funded projects, publications, intellectual property rights and technology transfer.
Objectives of RISE
- Create research centric environment in order to drive innovations and technological advancements.
- Guide, motivate and encourage faculty and students to expand knowledge, discover new insights, validate existing theories, develop innovations, and publish the research findings.
- Facilitate strategic collaborations with industry partners to enhance research outcomes and promote knowledge transfer.
- Secure funding for sponsored projects, enabling interdisciplinary research and fostering academic-industry partnerships.
- Nurture young minds to develop their entrepreneurial acumen and launch dynamic startup’s.

Atal Community Innovation Centre (ACIC) RISE Association, supported by AIM, NITI Aayog (Govt. of India), aims to nurture Innovation and Entrepreneurship culture in Semi-urban and Rural India. ACIC RISE brings together startups, industry mentors, and eminent academicians from its parent Institution Chandigarh Group of colleges Mohali and researchers who thrive on continuous interaction of theory and practice. ACIC RISE encourages the young minds, students and Innovators, Ideators to undertake entrepreneurship as a career option and set up a successful start-up venture.
