About IQAC
Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has contributed significantly for institutionalizing the quality assurance strategies and processes. It reviews teaching learning process, structures & methodologies of operations and learning outcomes at periodic intervals and records the incremental improvement in various activities.
The institute has been actively pursuing quality assurance in most of the academic and administrative matters through IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell), which was established in 2017 as per the guidelines of statutory bodies. IQAC involves in planning, guiding, and monitoring Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) activities.
Objectives of the IQAC
- To achieve excellence in teaching-learning, research, innovation, and overall development of the institute through quality enhancement.
- To ensure standardization as well as the systematization of procedure.
- To set quality performance indicators in domains of education, research and administration pertaining to departments/programs and other units of the Institution.
- To evolve and implement stakeholders’ feedback assessment.
- To facilitate periodic academic and administrative audit.
- To ensure learning outcomes periodically and record the improvement through various activities.
Structure of IQAC
The IQAC has been constituted as per the guidelines of statutory bodies.

The IQAC operational committee meeting is held normally four times a year.

Reviewing of teaching learning process, structures & methodologies of operations
IQAC ensures:
- Readiness of departments at the beginning of semester by conducting Academic Readiness Audit.
- Departments act on stakeholder feedback in accordance with policy. On the basis of input, it also keeps track of the analysis and action taken reports.
- Syllabus is covered by the Departments as per the lecture plan.
- Beyond the syllabus topics are covered properly.
- Quality of reference material.
- To assess the performance of departments by conducting Academic Audit at the end of each academic session.
- Departments have prepared course files and update them regularly.
- Effectiveness of regular teaching classes by Monitoring the classes and check innovative teaching methods.
- To keep a track of weak and bright students’ of Departments in accordance with the policy and the corrective measures taken by them.
- Development of latest skills.
- MOUs and Tie-ups with other institutes to organise collaborative quality enhancement activities.
- Ensures framing/revising (if required) and attainment of COs, POs, PEOs and PSOs (wherever applicable)by the Departments.
