The ACS club of Applied Sciences Department organized Technical Treasure Hunt on 31st October 2023 as a part of Parivartan 2K23- A Techno Cultural Fest of CGC. The event was organized by ACS Faculty Coordinator Dr. Meena Devi under the guidance of Dr. Harpal Singh, Head of Applied Sciences Department. The event was judged by Ms. Inderjot Kaur, Faculty CEC-CGC. The event was designed to captivate participants in an exciting and stimulating competition, putting their problem-solving abilities, technical expertise, teamwork, and aptitude for unravelling clues to the test. A large number of students from different colleges participated in this event. The competition comprised of three rounds consisting of 50 clue stations strategically placed across the venue. Every clue station posed a distinct technical challenge, demanding participants to tackle coding problems, puzzles, riddles, and various other challenges. The clues were carefully crafted to guide teams step by step towards the ultimate destination of the treasure.
A team of GNA University, Phagwara headed by Ekamjit Singh secured 1st position. A team of CEC-CGC Landran Mohali headed by Aarushi secured 2nd position and a team of CEC-CGC Landran Mohali headed by Rohit Pal secured 3rd position. The winning teams were conferred with cash prizes of Rs 6000, 4000 and 2000 respectively. The winners were also conferred with trophies, medals and certificates.
