The Department of Applied Sciences organized industrial visit to Metlonics Industries Private Limited, Kurali on 2nd February, 2024 for first year students of B.Tech-Mechanical Engineering. This visit was arranged to provide students with a firsthand understanding of the manufacturing processes involved in railway and defence parts. The aim was to bridge the gap between theoretical technical concepts and practical industrial applications. Mr. Gurdeep Singh and Mr. Rajnish from Meltonics provided the students with a detailed explanation of the manufacturing process for railway and defence parts. The session was highly engaging, and the students grasped nearly all of the concepts explained by the speaker.
