A 5-day Faculty Development Program on “IoT and its Applications” was organized by Electronics and Communication Engineering Department in association with NITTTR Chandigarh from 6th November to 10th November 2023. This programme was intended to provide the participants a common platform to share the knowledge, experience and innovation in the areas related to basics and advances in Internet of Things in Engineering and Technology and also provided an opportunity to interact with eminent personalities working in these areas. Experts from renowned institutes like NITTTR Chandigarh, CSIO-CSIR Chandigarh imparted knowledge on topics IoT systems, Architectures, Challenges, Communication protocols and industrial requirement, Real time applications with problem solving approach. At the end of the program, the participants from different engineering domains enhanced their knowledge on the basics and advance in the field of Internet of Things and find new directions for further research.
