About the ECE Department

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, established in the year 2002, offers a four-year UG program and a two-year PG program in Electronics and Communication Engineering. With the vision to produce skilled, socially-sensitized and globally competitive professional engineering graduates in the area of Electronics and Communication Engineering, the department is working tirelessly with its faculty and staff to reach new heights of success. The Department is NBA accredited with a well-equipped Mitsubishi Electric India (MEI) Centre of Excellence (CoE), Advanced Antenna and Radiating System Lab established under the MODROB scheme from AICTE, a Virtual Instrumentation Lab, and a Research Cell certified with Texas Instruments under the TI University program. Many of its alumni are well placed in companies such as Microsoft, IBM, Infosys, Intel, Byju’s, Mind Tree, etc.

Preamble

This workshop has been formulated to develop proficiency in AI techniques, classical control systems, reinforcement learning and advanced AI applications to enhance robotic capabilities for Smart Systems using NI LabVIEW across diverse industries, and will be ideal for academicians, researchers and working professionals to create a strong knowledge base for improving the teaching-learning process of Robotics with Artificial Intelligence through the medium of the Hindi language.

Objectives and Context

  1. The proposed 3-day workshop will focus on comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) with robotic systems for Smart Systems using NI LabVIEW software.
  2. Experiential-based learning of participants through hands-on experience of Deep Learning Frameworks and toolkits for Robotics and AI in LabVIEW software.
