Dr. Kapil Mehta
Professor & Head, Department of Emerging Technologies
In today’s fast-evolving digital landscape, staying aligned with emerging technologies is not just an option—it is a necessity. At CEC-CGC, Landran, the Department of Emerging Technologies is committed to shape future-ready professionals by offering programs rooted in the most sought-after domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Data Science, Cloud Computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Our curriculum is continuously updated in collaboration with IKGPTU, Jalandhar, to reflect the dynamic nature of the tech world. We strongly believe that hands-on experience is as critical as theoretical knowledge. With this in mind, we integrate industry-driven projects, workshops, guest lectures, certifications, and live training sessions into our teaching methodology to ensure students are industry-ready from day one.
We also emphasize holistic development—cultivating not just technical proficiency, but also communication, leadership, and critical problem-solving skills. Our undergraduate and postgraduate programs are designed to create tech professionals who can lead, innovate, and adapt.
Industrial exposure is a core pillar of our approach. Through regular industrial visits, internships, and training in collaboration with reputed tech companies, our students gain invaluable insights into real-world applications of emerging technologies.
The faculty at the Department of Emerging Technologies comprises passionate educators and researchers—many of whom are recognized nationally and internationally. Together with our students, they form a vibrant academic community engaged in interdisciplinary research, innovation, and development.
Our department stands as a beacon of modern learning and future-oriented education. We take immense pride in being part of a legacy that consistently pushes the boundaries of excellence.
Here’s wishing every member of the Emerging Technologies family great success. May we continue to learn, innovate, and grow—together.
