Universal Human Values (UHV) Potential Nodal Center, Chandigarh Engineering College – CGC Landran, Mohali, proudly inaugurated the 3-Days AICTE Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values-I (UHV-I). The event was graced by Dr. Sukhpreet Kaur Chairperson-UHV Cell and Director Principal Chandigarh Engineering College-CGC Landran, Dr. Vinay Bhatia Convener- UHV Cell and HOD-ECE , Chandigarh Engineering College-CGC Landran, Dr. Ashima Kalra Coordinator-UHV Cell, Chandigarh Engineering College-CGC Landran, AICTE NCCIP Team members- Dr. Manisha Gupta Resource person, Dr. Garima Joshi Co-facilitator, Dr. Anu Jhamb Observer along with faculty and staff from institutions within and beyond CGC.
Dr. Manisha Gupta served as the resource person for the inaugural session. During her address, she highlighted the importance of Holistic Development and the Role of Education, while engaging participants in discussions on Self-Exploration, Happiness and Prosperity. This prestigious FDP, conducted under the guidance of AICTE NCCIP, aims to empower educators with a deeper understanding of happiness, prosperity, harmony, ethical living, and social responsibility—essential values for shaping future-ready professionals and responsible citizens.
Day 1 marked the commencement of an enriching journey of self-exploration, meaningful dialogue, and experiential learning, fostering a culture of holistic development and human excellence. A total of 63 participants attended the programme, including 15 participants from various institutions such as NSUT, New Delhi, Guru Nanak Dev College, Ludhiana, and other colleges, reflecting the diverse academic representation in the FDP.
