The 4thInternational Conference on Contemporary Advances in Mechanical Engineering, was organized the Department of Mechanical Engineering, CEC-CGC Landranduring September 15-16, 2022. The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Prof.(Dr.) R.K. Garg, Head, Centre of Reliability Improvement in Industry, NIT, Jalandhar in the presence of Guests of Honour, Prof.(Dr.) Inderdeep Singh, Head, Department of Design, IIT, Roorkee. Extending their best wishes to the audience on the occasion of Engineers’ Day, the speakers shared their thoughts on the theme of the conference. They also highlighted the contributions being made by the engineering community in nation-building. During this conference students, researchers, academicians and industry professionals participated and more than 170 research articles were submitted to this conference out of which 105 have been selected for publication in Elsevier’s Materials Today: Proceedings (Scopus Indexed International Journal) after rigorous peer review process. At the Valediction ceremony, Dr. Manish Hooda, Head, Technology Development Division, SCL Mohali and Dr. S. K. Mangal, Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh came in as the Guests of Honor and Prof. (Dr.) Jamel Orfi, King Saud University, UAE and Prof. (Dr.)Sarbjit Singh, Prof., Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarhwere the keynote speakers.
