Applies Sciences Department organized “United Chords” Singing Competition

Music is a unifying form of art that offers powerful lessons about the importance and diversity of innovation. To celebrate the legacy of “JAZZ” The Applied Sciences department of Chandigarh Engineering College, Mohali organized an Inter-departmental singing competition by the name “UNITED CHORDS” on 30th April, 2021.The event was conducted under the leadership of DSW Coordinator Applied Sciences department in coordination with the Excelsior club.

Around 82 entries were received from all over the campus and with 24 shortlisted entries it was extremely difficult to decide the winners. Thefore ,the winners were divided into two categories comprising of Male singer and Female singer category.

For Male singer category the winners were:-

• 1stposition:-Hardik Bhardwaj (BBA)
• 2ndposition:-Yogesh Sharma (CSE)
• 3rd position :- Hrishikeshbhuyan (CSE) and Aryan Sachdeva (CSE)

For Female singer category the winners were:-

• 1st position:- HavishaBisht (CSE)
• 2nd position:- Komal Bhardwaj (MBA)
• 3rd position :- SomyaMaheshwari (MBA)

A special Appreciation was given to Ankita(MBA) and Gurpreet Singh (MBA) for their commendable performance.
