Dr. Amit L. Sharma Sr. Principal Scientist CSIR-CSIO, Chandigarh specializing in handling various Analytical Instruments like FT-IR and UV-visible-NIR spectrophotometer, addressed the Faculty and students of Department of Applied Sciences, Chandigarh Engineering College, Mohali on 17th November, 2023. The learned speaker dwelled on a UV-Visible, IR and Photoluminescence Spectroscopy and its instrumentation. His lecture was heard with great interest and attention by the students as it included pictorial and graphical illustrations. The session was attended by more than 180 students from Informational Technology, Electronics and Communication, AI-ML. CSE DS, AI-DS Engineering fields.
Dr. Amit L. Sharma is well known for excellence in imparting education in the field of Analytical Instrumentation. He has won awards like CSIR Technology Award: for the Year 2020 and published numerous scholarly papers in national and international journals.
