The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an expert talk for the students of Mechanical Engineering on November 29, 2021. Dr. Rupinder Singh, Professor & Head NITTTR Chandigarh apprised the students about the concept of 3D and 4D printing with practical examples. He also discussed the current research scenario in the field of Rapid Prototyping and the prospects in the field of Design Engineering.This session was conducted to spread awareness among the potential entrepreneurs about the rapid prototyping technologies available and its applications for start-ups.The students learned about the current research scenario in the field of Rapid Prototyping and the prospects in the field of Design Engineering. The students were also apprised about the application of different rapid prototyping technologies.
