The Department of Applied Sciences CEC-CGC, Landran organized an Expert Talk on “Non Linear Wave Propagation through Optical Fiber” for B. Tech First-Year students on 17 March, 2026. The session was led by Dr. Amit Goyal, a distinguished researcher and academician in the field of optical fiber. The Expert talk was designed to provide an introduction to how signals propagate through optical fibers and to highlight their applications across various fields. The talk provided valuable insights into the fundamental principles of nonlinear wave propagation, including key phenomena such as self-phase modulation and soliton formation.
