The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, through the Electronic Project Club, successfully organized an expert talk on “Recent Trends in Automation” on 24th December 2025. The session was delivered by Mr. Manoj Gupta AGM, Mitsubishi Electric, who shared valuable insights into emerging trends in industrial automation, smart manufacturing systems, and Industry 4.0 technologies. The expert highlighted the growing role of automation in enhancing industrial productivity, efficiency, and precision while discussing real-world industrial applications and challenges faced in modern automated environments. The talk also emphasized the integration of advanced technologies and the essential technical skills required to excel in the automation sector. The interactive session significantly enhanced students’ understanding of contemporary automation practices, strengthened industry–academia collaboration, and inspired participants to explore career opportunities in automation and core engineering domains.
