The Department of Business Administration (MBA Department) of Chandigarh Engineering College (CEC), Landran, in association with the National Institute of Personnel Management (Punjab Student Chapter), successfully organized HR Conclave 2K26, a two-day academic and industry engagement event aimed at providing students with exposure to contemporary HR practices, emerging technologies, and real-world industry insights.
The conclave was designed to create a platform where students, academicians, and industry professionals could interact, exchange ideas, and discuss the evolving role of Human Resources in the digital era, particularly in the context of Artificial Intelligence and a multi-generational workforce.
The first day of the conclave featured an Inter-College Quiz Competition, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from 25 teams, each comprising two members from MBA and BBA programs. Students from various institutions including Chandigarh Engineering College (CEC), Chandigarh Business School of Administration (CBSA), Chandigarh College of Engineering (COE), and Chandigarh College of Technology (CCT) actively participated in the competition.
The quiz competition consisted of multiple rounds that tested participants on business awareness, HR concepts, current affairs, analytical thinking, and general knowledge related to management and industry trends. The event was structured to promote teamwork, quick decision-making, and problem-solving abilities among participants.
The HR Conclave 2K26 featured an engaging panel discussion with eminent industry experts, centred on the theme “Humanising AI: Leading a Multi-Generational Workforce in the Digital Era.”
The second day commenced with inspiring keynote addresses by Arvind Kumar, Founder & CEO of Interlit Services Pvt. Ltd., and Shikha Gupta, Head of Learning & Development at Grazitti Interactive. In their speeches, they encouraged students to continuously upgrade their skills, stay adaptable in the rapidly evolving digital landscape, and use emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence responsibly and productively. Their insightful remarks set the tone for the event and smoothly transitioned into the panel discussion.
The initiative reflects the continuous efforts of the MBA Department of CEC Landran to provide industry-oriented learning opportunities, encourage intellectual engagement, and prepare students to become future-ready professionals in the rapidly changing business environment.
