Mechanical Engineering Department, CEC organized an Industrial Visit for students of B.Tech ME to Cheema boilers Ltd (Kurali) on March 05, 2020. The objective of this visit was to make the students understand how boilers are manufactured and what are the different processes involved during their manufacturing i.e. heat treatment of steel sheets at different temperature and the analysis of micro structure. Apart from that, they also learnt about the rolling of sheets, welding processes involved in boilers manufacturing and finally inspection and quality check of finished product.
