The Department of Information Technology arranged an industrial training session at CSIR-CSIO in Sector 30 D, Chandigarh, on 28 February 2024. The session, led by Mr. Narinder Singh Jassal and Dr. Neerja Garg, focused on Robotics, Mechatronics and air pressure applications. Mr. Jassal discussed various technologies and equipments, while Dr. Garg shared her journey and emphasized staying updated with technology trends. She also showcased industry-level equipment and technologies, including the Portable Solar Powered Vaccine Cooler, Nano-Fiber Fabrication Facility, and Malaria Parasite Detection Instrument. The visit aimed to make students aware of recent technologies, the importance of time management, skills needed for the corporate world and introduced CSIR-CSIO's online platform and website.
