The Department of Applied Sciences organized an industrial visit to Wonder Automation Training Division Mohali on 3rd March, 2023 for 55 students of B.Tech 1st year. This visit was organized to give exposure to students about the design and manufacturing process of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and various components that make up a PLC. These include the input/output modules, the central processing unit (CPU), the memory, and the power supply unit. The students were able to learn about the functions of each of these components.
