The Department of Emerging Technologies at Chandigarh Engineering College, CGC Landran observed Safer Internet Day 2026 with an insightful awareness session titled “Smart Tech, Safe Choices: Exploring the Safe and Responsible Use of AI.” The session aimed to educate students about responsible digital practices and the importance of cybersecurity in an increasingly technology-driven world.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Jasmeen Kaur, a Cyber Security Expert, who shared valuable insights on cyber hygiene, safe online practices, emerging cyber threats, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
This initiative was aligned with the Information Security Education and Awareness Project, supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
