The students of Mechanical Engineering at Chandigarh Engineering College (CEC) - CGC, Landran, Mohali, have once again proven their mettle on a national stage. Team Rudraksh, consisting of Shivam Pandey, Rohit Singh, Piyush Kumar, and Lovenshu, under the mentorship of Dr. Saurabh Chaitanya, Associate Professor, secured the 3rd position at the prestigious National Level SAP iTech Hack Fest 2024 with their project titled "Bore Well Rescue Robot." This remarkable achievement also came with a cash prize of Rs 75,000.
Competing against more than 100 colleges from across India, Team Rudraksh from CGC Landran stood out with their innovative project. The SAP iTech Hack Fest 2024, held at PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, is a highly regarded competition that brings together some of the brightest minds in technology and engineering, challenging participants to develop cutting-edge solutions to real-world problems.
