As part of the Student Induction program 2024, a session on Academic Policies was scheduled for the new students of Batch 2024 on 19th July 2024, which took place on day 5 of the induction. Dr. Jagtar Singh Khattra– Director Academics, CGC Landran interacted with the students about Academic Policies of CGC Landran. The session was designed to help the students become acquainted with the institute's policies and procedures regarding attendance, assignments, examinations, grading, and other academic processes. Dr. Khattra discussed attendance policy, struck off policy, and leave policy in detail. The Director Academics stressed the significance of comprehending these policies for a prosperous academic journey. Furthermore, he highlighted the various opportunities that CGC provides to students, allowing them to gain exposure and actively participate in international conferences, seminars, interdisciplinary research, and training programmes. He enthusiastically encouraged the students to embrace the research-focused atmosphere at CGC and the RISE department. This includes engaging in activities like filing patents, publishing research papers and start-ups etc.
