The Mechnorobs Club of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at CGC Landran organized THRUST 2K24 on September 16, 2024, to celebrate Engineers' Day. The event, conducted in face-to-face mode, featured a vibrant mix of technical events, cultural performances, and insightful talks, all aimed at inspiring innovation and showcasing engineering talent.
The event objectives were to celebrate Engineers' Day by encouraging creativity and technical talent through hands-on activities, foster community spirit by blending technical expertise with cultural elements, and motivate students by providing exposure to technical challenges.
The event was graced by Dr. Vikas Chawla, Dean Academics, IKGPTU, Jalandhar, and Dr. Labh Singh, Chairman of the Institution of Engineers (India), as Guests of Honor. Their inspiring address emphasized the vital role of engineers in shaping the future.
