The Universal Human Values (UHV) Potential Nodal Centre at Chandigarh Engineering College – CGC Landran, Mohali, successfully concluded its 3-Day AICTE Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Universal Human Values-I (UHV-I), held from 8th to 10th July 2026.
The valedictory ceremony was attended by Dr. Sukhpreet Kaur, Chairperson – UHV Cell and Director Principal, CGC Landran; Dr. Vinay Bhatia, Convener – UHV Cell and HOD-ECE, CGC Landran; and Dr. Ashima Kalra, Coordinator – UHV Cell, CGC Landran. The occasion was also joined by the AICTE NCCIP team — Dr. Manisha Gupta (Resource Person), Dr. Garima Joshi (Co-Facilitator), and Dr. Anu Jhamb (Observer) — along with faculty and staff from CGC Landran and other participating institutions.
Organized under the aegis of AICTE NCCIP, the FDP focused on helping educators develop a stronger understanding of happiness, prosperity, harmony, ethical living, and social responsibility — values considered fundamental to nurturing future-ready professionals and responsible citizens.
The concluding session featured participants' self-evaluations, wherein each shared a 3–5-minute reflection comprising a brief self-introduction, three key verified proposals on happiness, prosperity, and relationships, and a personal commitment towards leading a harmonious life ahead.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from 63 faculty members, including 15 participants from institutions beyond CGC, reflecting the growing interest in value-based education across the region.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of mementos to the AICTE NCCIP team — Dr. Manisha Gupta, Dr. Garima Joshi, and Dr. Anu Jhamb — in appreciation of their invaluable guidance and support throughout the programme, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
Heartfelt thanks to all participants, resource persons, and dignitaries for making this FDP a resounding success!
