The Department of IT and Chandigarh Engineering College, through the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized a workshop on "The Future of Education: Harnessing Generative AI for Effective Teaching" on December 1st, 2023. The speaker, Mr. Roshan Kumar, Founder and CEO, Scrollwell, focused on the future of education and the capabilities of generative AI, emphasizing its use in research and creating a dynamic learning environment. Participants received hands-on training on various AI resources, including Freepik, SlidesGo, ChatGPT, Canva, MS PPT Online, AI PPT Maker, and Wondershare - Smart Presentations. These tools were highlighted for their potential to enhance teaching effectiveness by creating visually engaging presentations. The workshop aimed to develop the teaching skills of faculty members through practical training on diverse AI tools, contributing to an improved teaching-learning process.
